Case Study
The website was easy to make as it uses wordpress with the “irresistible” theme with a custom background and logo. We wanted to make a site that looked visually pleasing and stood out but at the same time didn’t have too many images which would slow down download speeds. In fact the homepage is just 120kb including all images except the background which is 300kb and only has to be downloaded once. The background is interlaced Go here to see why this is good or go to members.spiders-design.co.uk to see a background that isn’t interlaced. There is a slight delay when viewing a page and this is caused by the database queries which are slower on our servers than others. (if you want a database website we will put you on third party servers unless you want to be on ours). The image is only temporary whilst a more appropriate one is sourced – but it does look lovely.
